Nepal: These two notes were issued in 1997 to celebrate the silver jubilee of Kg Birendra Bir Bikram Shah Dev. He acceded to the thrown on 31.1.1972 and was killed on 1.6.2001 by his eldest son following a Nepalese royal massacre. After his death, he was succeeded by his brother King Gyanendra Bir Bikram Shah Dev, who was later forced to abdicate when the Nepalese Monarchy was dissolved in 2008 by the elected government without a popular referendum.

...Malaysia - 2007 Commemorative RM50 Folder
Note: This note was released on Boxing Day in 2007 (26.12.2007). Twenty thousand folder notes were released to the public at RM60 each and all sold out on the day of release. This note was only available at Bank Negara Malaysia offices around the country, and unfortunately many collectors missed out on the opportunity to get them at the issued price.

This RM50 was issued on 31.01.2008. The note was issued to commemorate Malaysia 50th Year of Independence from the British on 31.08.1957. The front of the note depict the first King (Agong) of Malaysia (then Malaya) Tuanku Abdul Rahman. The reverse features the First Prime Minister of Malaya/Malaysia Tunku Abdul Rahman declaring independence.
